Mathew Crawford Architects were commissioned to undertake a complete renovation of this family home in Guildford, Surrey.
The project was divided into two distinct phases. Phase one involved the addition of a side return extension, transforming the ground floor into a bright and spacious kitchen and dining area. A continuous run of roof glazing floods the heart of the home with natural light, while large bifold doors open seamlessly onto the garden—creating an ideal indoor-outdoor living space for the family.
Phase two, a rear dormer extension, is planned for the near future. This will provide additional space as the children grow, ensuring the home continues to meet the family’s evolving needs.
