Mathew Crawford Architects completed the full renovation of this Victorian terrace house in the heart of Lewes Conservation Area.
The renovation included a new loft conversion, creating the perfect home office for this professional couple.
We worked hard to create a beautiful and functional kitchen space for the home owners who love to cook. Creating a new laundry room and relocating the washing machine from the kitchen, freeing up space for all important kitchen gadgets.
“We didn’t know where to start when we decided to renovate a Victorian terrace that had been untouched since the 70’s but Matt guided us through the entire process from the outset and every step of the way. He listened to all our needs and proposed creative solutions throughout and was a source of useful advice during a daunting project. One of our top requirements was to maximise storage, and we’re delighted with what he designed for us to achieve this in a small space. On top of this, he successfully gained planning permission for our loft extension, expertly navigating Conservation Area and National Park Planning Policy. We would absolutely recommend him to anyone considering a similar renovation”
